Using simple household ingredients, RHMS Montessori students took part in a STEM activity exploring ice crystals. The children watched sparkly crystals form and freeze onto a string in just seconds. When they held the string, they noticed the ice beginning to melt from the warmth of their hands. 

Students recorded their observations on paper and created artwork to illustrate what they observed. This simple yet fascinating activity was more than just fun, it introduced important scientific concepts in an engaging, hands-on way.
