RHMS Montessori students recently explored the fascinating world of the animal kingdom through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. As part of the STEM curriculum, students were introduced to animal classification, learning to identify animals by their habitats, as well as by type including mammals, birds, and reptiles. They also discovered key characteristics, such as whether animals are herbivores or carnivores.
To bring their learning to life, students selected their favourite animals and created detailed journal write-ups, complete with bright and colourful illustrations. These creative pieces showcased both their understanding and their imagination. In addition, students designed beautiful animal-themed artwork, now proudly displayed throughout the classrooms.
