Uncovering The Secrets Of Trees

RHMS Grade 8 students had the opportunity to work alongside an arborist to explore the fascinating world of trees.  The students explored the RHMS school grounds, learned how to identify different tree species, including the honey locust and the little - leaf linden and discovered how to assess tree health.  They also gained a deeper understanding of the essential role trees play in supporting healthy ecosystems and our urban environment.

This engaging outdoor experience encouraged students to appreciate the natural world around them and recognize the importance of protecting and caring for our urban forests.
