RHMS Montessori students explored STEM learning through a hands-on colour mixing activity using water, food colouring and droppers. This simple yet engaging task connected science, technology, engineering and math in meaningful ways. The students discovered basic colour theory as they watched primary colours blend into new secondary shades. The droppers helped strengthen their fine motor skills while learning to use a tool with precision.
The students experimented like young engineers having fun testing all the different colour combinations they could create.
