Montessori Creative Pages

RHMS Montessori students look forward to making entries in their journals.  With pencils in hand and imaginations wide open, they capture their thoughts, ideas, and experiences through pictures and words.

Writing in journals is a powerful strategy that helps the students respond to literature, build writing skills, and express their thoughts with confidence. The children often start by drawing their ideas followed by writing their sentences independently, making writing fun and meaningful. 

Journaling has become a special part of the Montessori classroom routine, one where creativity shines, confidence grows, and every child’s voice is celebrated.
