Celebrating Earth Day by Recycling
Montessori children learn about recycling and reducing waste
Montessori students are learning the importance of recycling in conjunction with Earth Day.
Each student brought in items they recycle at home, and in class, the materials were tallied.
Children separated the reusable materials by type: paper, plastic and glass. They also discussed how homes and schools can contribute to the reduction in pollution caused by waste.
