RHMS Grade 8 Career Day

RHMS was happy to invite our school community to our first Career Day for the Grade 8 students. Parents came to speak about the course of their careers. 

The students learned about what educational path each speaker completed to begin their journey, the type of employability skills they needed to be successful in their field and the type of work-life balance they have in their present lives.  Most importantly, it was interesting to learn why each presenter selected their career.  Some of the several professions that were showcased were law, engineering, computer science, medicine and  entrepreneurship. 

Career Day provided our students with an up-close look at different career paths to connect their learning to the real world. The students were excited to listen to all of the presenters, ask questions, and consider what careers piqued their interest.
