Montessori Blast Off To Space

RHMS Montessori students have completed their journey around our solar system. They were excited to explore the eight planets and learn what makes each of them unique.  

The children completed different projects based on the planets they learned about.  They built the layers of Earth and solar system models out of plasticine. To design a volcanic surface while exploring the planet Venus, the students built snow volcanoes outside.  To make their volcanoes erupt, the class used baking soda, vinegar and food colouring to make their creations come alive.

It was so much fun to blast off to space and travel to our solar system.
