Montessori Willowgrove Farm

RHMS Montessori students visited Willowgrove farm to celebrate the fall season. The students learned about the many varieties of apples and the important roles the honeybees play in the pollination process.  They explored how farmers care for the orchards through pruning and maintenance.

Once the tour was complete, the children were in for a treat as they enjoyed a wagon ride through the orchard and an opportunity to pick and sample fresh apples from the trees. The day was a perfect blend of learning, exploration, and a crisp bite of autumn fun!
