Montessori Remembrance Day

RHMS Montessori students learned about Remembrance Day and the importance of honouring those who bravely served and sacrificed in times of war.  The children explored themes of peace, gratitude, and respect for the soldiers who fought for our freedom. 

The students expressed their reflections creatively by making art and poppy crafts, using red tissue paper and other materials to create meaningful symbols of remembrance.  

On Remembrance Day, the students observed a moment of silence together with a quiet sense of appreciation for those who gave so much for us.
