Montessori Community Helpers

RHMS Montessori students have been learning about the important community helpers who support and protect us every day such as police officers, firefighters, and other essential workers.  

Through engaging lessons and discussions, the children explored the roles these helpers play in growing our community and keeping it safe. The students created thoughtful artwork, completed worksheets and participated in hands-on activities that allowed them to express what they learned in creative and meaningful ways.

This unit taught the students about responsibility and service, and it also encouraged gratitude and appreciation for the people who make a positive difference in our daily lives.
