Growing Through Giving

RHMS Grade 3 students have been diving into the book titled Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate, exploring not just the story, but the bigger picture of food insecurity in our own community.

Our students channeled their learning into action, creating posters and presentations to raise awareness in our school and collecting donations for the Richmond Hill and York Region Food Banks. 

By connecting reading to real-world issues, we are growing compassionate students who understand the power of giving back to others.
