Let’s Take A Trip!

Our Grade 4 students have been busy preparing for their upcoming Social Studies Place Assignment.  With a Travel ‘Show and Tell’ to inspire destination ideas, the Grade 4 students are working in small groups to select a place in the world to visit. 

Together, they are researching facts and information about their chosen destination and are applying their knowledge using various on-line mapping techniques in an interactive Google Slides Presentation! The students will be including description, maps, charts and images of key components of place in their ‘Travel Brochure’ such as the Physical/Human Characteristics, Biome, Climate Zone, Relative and Absolute Location, Historical Facts and Cultural Festivities.  Finally, our hard-working students will present their topic in a fun and lively presentation!
