Stock Market Challenge

On October 18^th Grade 8 students from Richmond Hill Montessori Private School were given a challenge by Mr. D’Amato to become an investor! The students in Mrs. Rafferty’s Grade 8 Math class worked together with their peers to make investments in companies such as Disney, Google, and Apple using a stock market simulator. They were also visited by an RHMS alumni, Timothy, who introduced the concept of investing and financial planning to the Grade 8 students. It was a fun and interactive way to introduce good investing practices and money management skills to the class.
