Montessori students in Ms. Sandy Liao, Riham Rizkalla, and Courtney Kulaga’s preschool class had lots of fun participating in a Pumpkin Circumference Measuring Contest to kick off Halloween! Each student used orange string to make their best guess at the circumference measurement of the class pumpkin. This exercise helps build future estimation skills used in Math and is also a fun way to incorporate Halloween into their lessons. The students were excited to see everyone’s predictions posted on the class board.
