Montessori Students Present Elaborate Animal Projects
Earlier this month, Montessori students were working very hard to create presentations on their favourite animals. They created colourful bristol boards and thoughtful dioramas. Students shared some of the amazing things they learned with their classmates, for example, that beavers build strong dams to live in and that gray wolves are mammals that live in packs. Their classmates asked very insightful questions about what the different animals eat and the different environments that they live in. These projects help students understand the classification of living things and their place within the animal kingdom.
