Student Vote 2018
Students learn about government and the electoral process
RHMS grade seven and eight students have been learning about government and the electoral process, and on Tuesday, they cast their ballots for the official election candidates.
The intermediate students were encouraged research the candidates and issues, and begin a dialogue among classrooms.
Some students also volunteered to play the roles of deputy returning officers and poll clerks, and cast ballots for the official election candidates.
The results will be tabulated and shared with the classes after the close of the official polls.
