Montessori Human Body Project

Montessori students focused on learning the major systems in the human body. This project allowed the students to review the bones of the body, the purpose of each system, the special jobs and location of each major organ, plus they had some fun looking under their skin. 

 

At the end of their unit, the children came together and presented one body system or organ that interested them. This was a great experience for the class as they all engaged in a collaborative learning process.
