Every Child Matters

RHMS Grade 2 students participated in Truth and Reconciliation day.  They learned about our Indigenous people, the understanding of the long-lasting impact of the residential school system and how every individual can take part in working towards reconciliation in our everyday lives.

Each student made a brick to add to our Bricks of Belonging wall.  On this brick, they reflected on everything they applied in class to acknowledge Truth and Reconciliation day.  This served as a day of remembrance, action and learning.
