Montessori Moving On Up

Our RHMS Senior Montessori students were excited to start their preparation for Grade 1 by visiting the classrooms to meet the teachers. 

 

The teachers made the students feel welcomed and started the introduction by reading a story.  The children were excited to learn that they will have their own lockers outside of the classroom and their routines will change by visiting STEM and Gym class and the Science Lab.  The Montessori students shared some knowledge and feelings by completing a worksheet and answering questions about their visit.  

 

The Grade 1 teachers were delighted to see how well prepared the Senior Montessori class is to start their new Grade 1 adventure next school year.
