Les Francophones

To honour French culture and diversity, RHMS students in grade 7 and 8 worked with a partner to create a written biography about a famous French person.

They had a choice in researching whomever they desired. The focus of this activity was to highlight different professions, upbringings and possibilities in speaking French but ultimately to emphasize the importance of how speaking French benefits the careers of so many people, famous or not.

The Students wrote about their own connections to learning French and the important lessons they obtain to help them reach their goals as a French speaker. When completed, posters were created and were displayed on the French bulletin board.
