Montessori Outdoor Adventures

RHMS Montessori students got to spend a day in nature visiting Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area. They started the day in Treewalk Village and the children explored different obstacles within the environment. They were brave walking across bridges high up in the treetops, scaling a rock climbing wall, and even doing a seated zip line!

After lunch, the children toured the enchanted forest. They stopped at stations to learn about how maple syrup is made. The children had fun learning about how the tree produces sap which after a lengthy process, ends up on our pancakes. They even got a chance to try a sample at the very end of the tour. Yum!
